Our fully virtual 30-hour Drivers Education Course and 6-hour behind the wheel instruction is designed to prepare the student with all the knowledge they’ll need to be safe and responsible drivers in addition to preparing them for their North Carolina Learner Permit Test.

A student wishing to secure a spot in one of our 30-hour courses must be at least 14 and a half years old. Payment is due in full at time of registration.

Our instructor, Joey Paschal, is a licensed Drivers Education Instructor with the state of North Carolina. He also has prior experience teaching Driver's Education within the state of North Carolina.

Student must be at least 14 and a half to take the 30-hour course. Student may attempt the learner permit test at the DMV at the age of 15.
Once the student completes the course and passes the 30-hour course test, student will need to complete the vision test which we will schedule. Once the student has completed the vison test, they may be scheduled for the 6-hour driving instruction.
Note: For students who did not take the classroom portion with us, please provide a restricted instructor permit (if available) and a 611 certificate from the school that you took the classroom portion with. We are unable to schedule students for the 6-hour behind the wheel training until they have completed a vision test conducted by a DMV representative.
- One document verifying age and identity of student (Birth Certificate, U.S. Passport).
- Social Security Card or one document proving they have a SS # (1099 tax form, W-2)
- For U.S. Citizens, one document proving residence.
- For Non-U.S. Citizens, one document issued by the U.S. government indicating legal presence
- Driving Eligibility Certificate (provided by the students school)
- Drivers Education Certificate (provided by us, Tarheel Driving Academy)
The 6-hour driving instruction will not be scheduled until after the student passes the 30-hour course + vision test. Note: we do offer driving instruction for students who have completed the 30-hour course at another driver's education school as long as the necessary paperwork is provided.
We will travel no further than 1 hour from our office in Reidsville, NC. We're happy to meet at a location in between if needed. For more specifics, please feel free to send us an email!

- Adult Driving Improvement - $75 an hour with a 2-hour minimum (Must have either a valid NC driver's license or Learner's Permit)
